At the heart of Elijah Mission Institute is the mission of promoting faith and virtue for a flourishing society. The Institute is dedicated to fostering thriving communities through intentional dialogue and collaboration, rooted in Christian values. This vision began in 2013, when Musa Mwanza, a nonprofit leader from Southern Africa, and Brian VandenBrink, a U.S.-based CEO, met in Choma, Zambia. Their shared passion for servant and steward leadership ignited a connection that has flourished over 12 years of interdisciplinary and intercultural dialogue.
